Worst Loss of the Season!!!

Last night the loss to the Pirates was horrible. It was one of those nights where, despite 22 hits, every time TLR went to the bullpen.... let's just say TLR was probably thinking (in the immortal words of Ron Burgandy) "I immediately regret that decision."

I think the problem is our guys don't have clearly defined roles. If Izzy was pitching like Izzy, the 9th inning would be his, and you could plan the 7th/8th accordingly. Guys would know what to expect going into each game. That is very important to the relievers, especially with all the young guys we've got out there.

Here is the link to the STL Post story on the game:

It is always tough to blow a lead late in a game, but when you get 22 hits and lose..... let's just say it was one of those games I'm glad the remote control survived. There is always tomorrow.
